| MAESTRO |
 |
MAESTRO Integration Platform is an Enterprise Service BUS (ESB) with the following main components:
MAESTRO has a crucial role in any software development project:
| Implements a SOA architecture (Services Oriented Architecture) |
| > |
Integration between frontend and LOB components (Line of Business); |
| > |
Integration with external entities; |
| > |
Provision of new servicing capacities, leveraging new integration possibilities. |
| Imposes a standards-based architecture: Web Services – SOAP, WSDL, UDDI, XML, XSLT, XPath, promoting: |
| > |
Heterogeneity: Heterogeneous applications integration, providing a consistent services oriented model; |
| > |
Flexibility: Allows the organization to change processes and relationships between applications through configuration and not coding; |
| > |
Distributed Environment: Services are available within the organization and between organizations;. |
| > |
Monitoring: The infrastructure has the capacity to self-manage and monitor (logging, auditing, performance monitoring). |
| Is fully created with Microsoft technology: |
| > |
Total implementation in .NET; |
| > |
Total integration with Microsoft Plataform; |
MAESTRO is a very flexible platform easily adapted to different realities. From all out-of-the-box features included in MAESTRO, we highlight the following:.
Bus Services: Messages Transformation; Messages Enrichment; Content-based Routing; Messages Resubmission; Asynchronous Communication; Publisher/Subscriber Model; Store and Forward Model
Distributed Applications Support: Service Oriented Approach; Location Transparency.
Remote Access
Tracing (auditing)
Selective Start / Stop Services
Fault Tolerance: Load balancing; Clustering.
Orchestration: Compensatory Transactions; Services Composition.
Management and Monitoring: Journaling; Auditing; Statistics; Service levels.

| FEATURES & BENEFITS |
 |
|
| > |
Messages Searching, Soap Faults and Application Errors |
| > |
Statistics and statistics’ historical: allows checking several statistics about transactions processed by MAESTRO (latency, timeouts, soap faults, resubmissions, etc…) |
| > |
Services Switch: allows services connecting/disconnecting. This feature is useful when business applications are unavailable. It allows the automatic scheduling of services or group of services unavailability |
| > |
Timeouts Management: allows configuring timeout per services or group of services. This timeout value is the maximum time that MAESTRO waits for the business application response. The accurate timeout configuration is essential to take advantage of the available resources and avoid contention scenes |
| > |
End-Points Management: allows managing communication end-points of the various services and available transactions in MAESTRO Integration Platform |
| > |
Unavailability Monitoring Service: allows periodically warning support teams whenever certain events exceed the established time limit. Scenarios can be configured by the user for services or groups of services and for a certain day and/or time: service inactivity, high latency, high timeout, high number of applicational errors and high number of Soap Faults. This service is also responsible for the sending of a daily email with the execution summary (negative events list and the daily statistics) |
| > |
Messages Resubmission: allows messages resubmission detecting and treating. When an external entity makes a request to MAESTRO and doesn’t receive a response (by error or timeout), the message can be resubmitted. Through the identification of a pattern (ex: single transaction ID), MAESTRO Integration Platform is able to detect if it is a resubmission and treats it accordingly. In case there is already a valid response for the request (and within a well defined timespan), MAESTRO returns that response to the external application withouth invoking again the business application. |
